Fashion Friday
Laura Owen, 27, Volunteering Development Manager
My style is quite minimalist and easy-to-wear. I think that the English high-street is the best in the world and I live in H&M and Topshop.
There is just over a month until London Fashion Week, and I can’t wait to see what Jaeger and Margaret Howell have to offer!

I’d describe my style as being quite minimalist and easy-to-wear; this summer I’m really enjoying sporting the preppy look.
I like clean and simple Scandinavian brands such as Acne, Nudie and Cos, and am looking forward to seeing their A/W collections. My one-to-watch this LFW menswear day would be J.W. Anderson.

T-Shirt: American Apparel
Leather jacket: TK Maxx
Belt: Vintage
Shoes: Dorothy Perkins
The shows that I would love to see at LFW are Acne, Margaret Howell, Paul Smith (really love Paul Smith prints!). Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy is what I’d want in terms of couture, however, I would never have the occasion to wear it!

I like classic style and design, items that are timeless and won’t look outdated in a season. I prefer to wear simple lines and cut, and nothing overly fussy.
I think that this is reflected in my favourite designers: Mulberry, Channel (not that I can afford to own any) and Marc Jacobs.

Dress: asos
Cardigan: Topshop
Handbag: Jaeger
Sunglasses: Banana Republic
I’d describe my style as classic with a hint of girly fun. I love bold prints and body-hugging dresses teamed with tailored jackets. My favourite designers are Matthew Williamson, Erdem and Marchesa.
I can’t wait for LFW this September; I’ll be making sure I see Burberry, Jaeger, Topshop Unique and Vivienne Westwood.

As I’m a schoolteacher I don’t get to be too experimental with what I wear during the working week, so I love to have fun with fashion and play around with my style when I’m off duty. I like the high street and mix it up with vintage staples to add a personal take.
