Julien Macdonald

Julien Macdonald was born in Wales and developed an interest in fashion from a very young age. He studied fashion at the University of Brighton before completing a master’s degree at the College of Art in London. Upon graduation, he was personally selected by Karl Lagerfeld to design knitwear for Chanel as well as the added honour of designing for Lagerfeld’s eponymous label.
