Fans of London’s eclectic mix of designers will not be disappointed as many of the big ticket names are back again this September to bring international attention to our capital. What is even more heartening is the fact that the big names who came back to LFW for its 25th anniversary have decided to stay in town meaning we will be able to see Burberry, Antonio Berardi, Matthew Williamson and Jonathan Saunders for the third consecutive season. In addition Giles Deacon, one of London’s favourite designers has decided to return from Paris where he has been showing for the past year. “Giles is a quintessential London label and I am extremely happy to be showing in London after two successful seasons in Paris,” said Deacon.
As for the young guns, Mary Katrantzou, Mark Fast, Michael van der Ham, David Koma and Holly Fulton will all have their own catwalk show on schedule and the fashion pack favourite, Swedish brand Acne, will also be showing a presentation in London. With Christopher Kane, Vivienne Westwood Red label, Erdem, Richard Nicoll and Marios Schwab all featuring on the schedule, it is set to be another vintage season at Somerset House.
