Of course, white, or a version of it, could legitimately be described as a trend every summer. Just leaving it at that, though, won’t sell any magazines! This season the pale and interesting trend is more ladylike than ever before.
Anyway, technically speaking these white looks; beautiful devore evening dress by Jonathan Saunders, a creamy cocktail dress with co-ordinating knitted beanie hat and of course, a Chanel suit with shell clutch bag by Karl Lagerfeld – are off-white. Very pale nude white-on-white designs by Saunders, palest cream by Roksanda and pale pale shell pink at Chanel. Beautiful, nonetheless.
